Highlights from the first VCPE Forum – Organized by Saudi Venture Capital & Private Equity Association in partnership with INVEST SAUDI
The Venture Capital and Private Equity industry in Saudi Arabia is at a very promising juncture where the already fast-growing sector could be further accelerated – inspired by Saudi Vision 2030 and fueled by the collective efforts and commitments of the various stakeholders. To scale up such efforts, the Saudi Venture Capital and Private Equity Association organized, in partnership with Invest Saudi, the first Saudi VCPE Forum. Speakers included distinguished industry professionals, local and international investors, and regulators who discussed practical insights, shared new developments, and addressed key issues. The event was headlined by by the Governor of Monsha’at, Deputy Governor of SAGIA and Chairman of the SVCPE Association;all of whom underscored the importance of the vital sector of venture capital and private equity to invigorate the entrepreneurship ecosystem in Saudi Arabia. They also commended the government and private sector efforts in accelerating the growth of this industry. The forum came as an integral part of the Saudi Venture Capital and Private Equity Association’s mandate to further stimulate the Venture Capital and Private Equity ecosystem in Saudi Arabia.
