Strategic partnership agreement with BIM Ventures at Investor Majlis organized by VCPEA

The Investor Majlis, organized by the Venture Capital and Private Equity Association, witnessed the signing of a strategic partnership agreement between the Association and BIM Ventures, a startup studio and business development incubator, to enhance the contribution of the venture capital and entrepreneurship ecosystem in the Kingdom. The event was attended by a number of dignitaries, including members of the VCPEA.

The agreement includes a number of provisions, including:

  • Strengthening cooperation, integration, and empowerment between the two parties to provide educational and statistical resources and expertise that contribute to achieving their goals and enriching content related to investment and entrepreneurship.
  • Activating the role of startup studios in the entrepreneurship and investment ecosystem to reduce risks and challenges for investors, entrepreneurs, and startups.

Mr. Qusai bin Abdullah Al Saif, CEO of the VCPEA, expressed his happiness at signing this agreement with BIM Ventures, and added that it comes as part of the association’s strategic plans to develop and facilitate the growth and expansion of the sector, as well as to provide more opportunities for investors and entrepreneurs. He concluded by saying that “this cooperative step between the two parties will open – with God’s help – unprecedented qualitative horizons for entrepreneurial and investment companies.”

Mr. Mohammed Amin Marah, Managing Partner and CEO, said: “This strategic partnership and cooperative agreement with the VCPEA comes within the framework of activating and strengthening the role of startup studios in the entrepreneurship and venture capital ecosystem by building sustainable startups that achieve financial sustainability and growth to participate in the development of the national economy.”

It is worth noting that the VCPEA works to enhance the attractiveness and role of the venture capital and private equity sector and raise awareness of the unique investment opportunities it offers in the Kingdom by launching effective programs, holding meetings and dialogue sessions, conducting research and publishing new articles, and organizing periodic meetings that contribute to improving the supporting systems and policies related to the sector.

BIM Ventures, a startup studio and business development incubator, seeks to build and innovate successful and sustainable companies by leveraging expertise, resources, and a network of knowledge that carefully selects bold ideas, verifies their feasibility, and then launches them to be transformed into integrated companies.
